Raised in the Colorado Rockies, Catherine de Medici Jaffee (Cat) is a storytelling, cliff-hucking, beekeeping audio producer.

Trained as a food anthropologist with a double major from Wellesley College, Cat has focused on telling science stories and making storytelling more accessible to under-represented communities.

She has launched and led several companies including Balyolu: the Honey Road, and is excited for her most recent venture, House of Pod. Before heading out on her own, she worked for incredible organizations including National Geographic, Unreasonable Group, Narrative 4, 350.org, Ashoka, the Asian Rural Institute and the Aspen Institute.

She has won a number of global awards including a Fulbright scholarship, a Luce in Asia Scholarship, the Four Corners State Department Award, the Critical Language Enhancement Award, and recognition as a two-time youth delegate to the United Nations.

She currently lives in Golden, Colorado with her flying dog Maya, where she is launching Denver-based House of Pod, a story series and podcasting company assisting non-profits, socially driven organizations, and marginalized groups to learn about and produce their own audio stories.

Cat works on any number of exciting collaborations. if you're interested in scheming up something beautiful and impactful, don't hesitate to connect at cjaffee@gmail.com.
