Raised in the Colorado Rockies, Catherine de Medici Jaffee (Cat) is a storytelling, cliff jumping, beekeeping business-woman.
She has launched and led three companies, Balyolu, Maya Marketing, and Golden Dens, and worked for incredible organizations including National Geographic, 350.org, Ashoka, the Asian Rural Institute and the Aspen Institute.
She has won a number of global awards including a Fulbright scholarship, a Luce in Asia Scholarship, the Four Corners State Department Award, the Critical Language Enhancement Award, and recognition as a two-time youth delegate to the United Nations.
She lives in Golden Colorado with her flying dog Maya where she raises quail, continues to work for National Geographic, and is finishing building a duplex-style home.
